The Cliffhanger cocktail glass was designed to reimagine our perception of the traditional cocktail glass and deliver an entire new drinking experience. It consists of two parts, a mouth blown crystal coupe and a natural stone marble base that acts like the “stem”. Lifting only the crystal coupe to drink adds an element of surprise that disrupts the classic cocktail glass while remaining true to its sense of elegance. The off-set glass adds an unexpected dimension to the experience, engaging the drinker’s tactile senses by requiring a bit of extra attention when lifting and placing the glass down which automatically makes the user more present in the moment.

YES, IT IS VERY STURDY!
Don't let the “on the edge” design fool you. The Cliffhanger cocktail glass is so well balanced and stable that I challenge anyone whoquestions it to run an obstacle course with a tray carrying a regular old cocktail glass and the Cliffhanger cocktail glass. I’d bet all my money that the traditional cocktail glass falls first.

LET YOUR FAVORITE DRINK BE THE NEXT ONE

The glass’s center of gravity passes the middle of the crystal coupe; thus, it can’t fall off. You can actually miss by a lot, and it will still stay on the marble block. In a worst case scenario, when you’ve had a few too many, you can play it safe by placing the coupe directly on the table. It balances on its own too. So, feel free to pour yourself another round, and another, and another… Well you get it ;)
